Where is Snorkel Coiba located?
We operate from Santa Catalina, Panama, the closest mainland access point to Coiba National Park. Our tours depart from Santa Catalina by boat. Our office is located on El Sendero Street in Santa Catalina, right next to the entrance of Sol y Mar Hotel.
How do I book a tour?

What types of tours do you offer?
We offer snorkeling tours, whale-watching excursions (seasonal), Prison Coiba tours, and hiking experiences on Coiba Island. Our tours cater to all experience levels, from beginners to experienced adventurers.
How long do the tours last?
Most of our snorkeling tours last a full day, typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, including boat travel, multiple snorkeling stops, and a lunch break.
What is included in the tour price?

Do you offer private tours?

Do I need previous snorkeling experience?
No experience is necessary! Our guides will provide instructions and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, even for beginners.
Is snorkeling safe for children and beginners?
Yes, snorkeling in Coiba is safe for all ages. We provide lifejackets, and our guides are trained to assist beginners. However, children must be supervised by an adult.
Are there sharks or dangerous marine animals?
Yes, but they are not dangerous! Coiba is home to harmless reef sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and a variety of fish. Encounters with sharks are safe and exciting, as they do not pose a threat to humans.
How many snorkeling spots will we visit during the tour?
On our standard snorkeling tour, we visit three different snorkeling spots within Coiba National Park. Each location offers unique marine life and breathtaking underwater scenery. The exact spots may vary depending on weather and sea conditions to ensure the best experience for our guests. We usually visit Coco Grande Island, Coco Pequeño Island, and Turtle Island for snorkeling spots.

What should I bring for the tour?
We recommend bringing:
– Swimsuit & towel
– Sunscreen (reef-safe)
– Sunglasses & hat
– Waterproof bag for personal items
– Camera or GoPro (optional)
-A picture of your passport (please do not bring the physical passport)

What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our priority. If weather conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule your tour.
Prices & Policies
How much do the tours cost?
Our full-day Coiba Island tours start at $60.00 per person not including entrance fees. Prices may vary depending on the type of tour, such as adding a hiking experience. Contact us for the latest rates and customization options.
Our Whale Watching tours start at $60.00 per person not including entrance fees.
Our Coiba Prison tours:
- 1 to 4 people for $500 + entrance fee to Coiba National Park.
- 5 to 8 people for $600 + entrance fee to Coiba National Park.
- 9 to 10 people for $700 + entrance fee to Coiba National Park.
What is your cancellation policy?
